Raising asagao (morning glory in Japanese) is a typical summer project for Japanese 1st grade elementary school kids. This is 3h time-lapse movie and it is amazing how the flowers open up! This is really a combination of origami engineering and self-driving acutators. BTW, I did not know flowers of morning glory open only once.
